Virgo Appoints Melissa Toma Ryan as Managing Director, Head of Business Development & Investor Relations
San Francisco, CA – Private investment firm, Virgo Investment Group, announced the hiring of Melissa Toma Ryan as Managing Director and Head of Business Development & Investor Relations. Ryan brings over 20 years of experience in financial services across sales, capital raising and origination to the team. She joins Virgo after a decade at Credit Suisse, where she served most recently as Co-Head of Capital Services in the Americas.

Prior to Credit Suisse, Mrs. Ryan was the Director of Investor Relations for BAM Capital and an Associate at Lehman Brothers in Capital Introductions, and also spent three years at Merrill Lynch in Taxable Debt Marketing and Fixed Income Origination. She began her career as a business analyst at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Ryan graduated from Gettysburg College and earned her MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
